Kimono means "Clothing" in Japanese and are considered the traditional dress of Japan. There are Kimono for all occations and all types of people. It's important to wear appropriate kimono, depending on your age/marital status and the formality of occasions. Kimono is the traditional clothing of Japan but unfortunately people wear this less and less. This is unfortunate as kimono are amazing clothes, fitting almost anyone with only a little adjustment. Kimono sash are called obi. There are various types of obi and ways to tie obi, depending on occations. It's not easy to put on kimono and to tie obi properly.
