Pre construction termite control: - We are licensed installers for the physical termite barrier, HomeGuard®. As you are probably aware it is a single thickness polymer sheet containing 1g/kg of ‘bifenthrin’ distributed evenly throughout the sheet. The active ingredient is a synthetic pyrethroid resistant to photo-degradation with a low solubility and therefore resistant to leaching through the soil profile.
Termite Inspections – Our services cover interior and / or exterior inspections and termiticidal spray to the soil perimeter of duplex units / retirement villas etc.; plus termite eradication; and the installation of physical or chemical termite barriers. We have a full range of products to eradicate termites both quickly and totally. Our preferred termiticide is “Biflex”; its active ingredient is a synthetic pyrethroid chemically known as “Bifenthrin”. This chemical is resistant to photo-degradation by sunlight and has a low solubility being resistant to leaching through the soil
Warranty Inspections
From 2001 onwards the State Government decreed it was mandatory for all builders to install a physical termite barrier to pre-construction slabs. In all cases where a manufacturer’s product warranty for an installed termite barrier is in force, copies of a “Termite Inspection Report” should be retained in support of the manufacturer’s guidelines. Annual inspections by a qualified technician are a pre-requisite to maintain current warranties for a physical or chemical termite barrier. If no physical barrier has been installed to dwellings constructed prior to the year 2001, a quotation will be submitted to “Drill and Pressure Inject “ a chemical barrier to a dwelling’s perimeter with the issue of our ten year warranty.
Prices – As you will appreciate it is difficult for termite Assasins to submit competitive prices for each of our services without detailed knowledge of a site and the architecture of facilities on site.
HomeGuard Blue
HomeGuard Blue is a single impregnated sheet, 0.3mm thick Termite Moisture Barrier that has recently been added to the HomeGuard Range of products. HomeGuard Blue is specifically designed as a cost effective perimeter cavity termite barrier system and is to be used in combination with the existing components in the HomeGuard Precision Termite Management System
Homeguard Blue comes with the same quality and certification that is already expected from the HomeGuard family of products and should be used in combination with other components of the HomeGuard precision Termite management System. Used in a combination with HomeGuard Collars HomeGuard Blue is also backed by the standard HomeGuard warranty.
The TermX Replenishment System has been designed by Australian’s to suit the harsh Australian conditions and termite pressures. It has been extensively tested to offer long-term termite management and prevention.
